Gora started from a simple frustration: climbing is better with the right partner, but finding that partner is still awkward, slow, and unreliable. Too much of the process lives in scattered WhatsApp groups, half-active Facebook communities, or last-minute messages that go nowhere.

We are building a mobile-first platform that makes partner matching feel intentional. Instead of broadcasting into the void, climbers can discover people nearby, compare style and experience, coordinate trips, and message with enough context to know whether a plan is realistic before they leave home.

The app is being built for the European climbing community first, with multilingual support and product decisions shaped around how climbers actually move between gyms, crags, weekends away, and longer trips.

Where we are now

Gora is live as a young product and improving quickly. We already support the core flows for discovery, messaging, trips, and content, and we are continuing to tighten reliability, polish onboarding, and strengthen SEO so climbers can actually find the platform.
